Hello Again!

It's been about 5 weeks since I posted to the blog and, if you live in the northern hemisphere, you may imagine that I was just enjoying our summer break.

But the truth is we've had houseguests for two weeks and unfortunately they brought the flu virus with them. Everyone in our house caught it and we're still in the recovery phase. We're just coming out of Winter in Australia and this particular strain of flu has affected a large number of people, resulting in death in a number of cases. But Spring arrived yesterday so we're getting ready to shed the extra blankets, put the heaters in storage and drop a few pounds so we can hit the beaches this summer.

Then I WILL be taking a couple of months off!
